Have u ever been spit on by a clam???
Both myself and my employee were recipients of a dousing by a beautiful yet ornery clam.
It all started with the unpacking process. It was routine I had unpacked 4 before him and was not subjected to any kind of foul play. I was gentle with him pointed him away from me. Didn’t want to cause him any more undue stress. I placed him down on the styro to move him into his location, when he rocked on his side aimed and shot.
I am thoroughly convinced this clam is a super intelligent species of clam, because his aim was dead on. He hit me right in the mouth. Can i just say DISGUSTING!!!!! It also did not help that my employee fell into a fit of hysterics.
Nothing unusual u might be saying. But that was not end of it. NOOO!!!! this clam set his sights on my employee as well.(he-he paybacks lol) I swear he was lying in wait for her, she took him out of the tank he was docile as a little lamb. She looked at him and while deciding where to place him he aimed and shot. I know I should not have found humor in this but what can I say I am evil..lol. Well let me just tell you this clam aimed so well he spit the water right up her nose. She was not happy..lol it also did not help that I bust out laughing and so did one of our customers.
When we finally got the clam from hell in his location and looking pretty he rocked on his side and turned away from the glass as if he refused to be viewed. After the 5th time trying to get him set we gave up.
All I can say is never under estimate the power of a 3″ clam..lol he kicked our butts pretty good.
Since we are most likely gonna keep him, does anyone have a name fitting for this guy??
